Rachel Marshall

Manager Wales

Rachel has over 25 years of experience working mainly in a local authority or third sector environment developing and managing a range of support programmes; administering and managing EU funding pots, and undertaking business development in the charity sector.

She brings to Lloyds Bank Foundation an understanding of working with communities at the grassroots level, and knowledge of the funding and fundraising environment in Wales, from previously working at the Development Trusts Association Wales, the people and homes charity Shelter Cymru, and Cardiff Council. She has been a mentor and adviser to a range of community and voluntary organisations, mainly with income generation aspirations, and understands the importance of the development support which Lloyds offers alongside the funding.  In a voluntary capacity, Rachel sits on her children’s school PTA and is a Trustee of the national rural community business support charity, The Plunkett Foundation.

In the past she has held a number of other voluntary positions.  In addition to her working career, Rachel also has an interest in cycling and is a trained women’s cycle leader and a recently qualified cycling coach. She is also a keen gardener and veg grower.
