Naomi Sampson
Grants Officer
Naomi joined the Foundation as a Grants Officer in October 2022. She works within the Grants Management Team, assessing funding applications and providing generative support to local charities. Before joining the Foundation, Naomi worked across the charity sector, pursuing their passion for social justice with a focus on ending sexual and gender-based violence.
At the University of Leeds’, she developed work on a new Sexual Violence Support Strategy at the Union - influencing policy and changing processes to better support students impacted by sexual violence. Following this, Naomi continued this work at The London Survivors Gateway as a Sexual Violence Service Navigator assessing survivors’ needs and cases to provide holistic and healing support.
Naomi has seen first-hand how integral funding is to the life cycle of charities and enabling local communities to thrive.
