James Newman

James joined the Foundation in September 2022 as the HR/Office Assistant. He had previously completed a master’s course in Human Resouce Management at Lancaster University and has since worked for Youth Hostels Association (YHA) in the charitable sector. James joined the Foundation because of the benefits small local charities have on local communities, which he witnessed during his time volunteering at University. 

James enjoys getting outdoors in local beauty spots and also playing music together with other people. One of his greatest achievements was singing in the BBC Proms with a male-voice choir called Cambiata.
