Helen Underwood-Savage

As the Skills Volunteering Lead at the Foundation, I am responsible for a range of volunteering initiatives which we deliver in partn\ership with Lloyds Banking Group. These programmes are part of our organisational development support for the small and local charities we partner with and range from one-off activities to long-term engagements, including virtual support options.

Helen is passionate about enabling teams at Lloyds Banking Group to use their skills and expertise to make a positive impact on small charities as well as raising awareness within the Group about their incredible work.

Before this role, she was the Events & Communications Officer at the Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Helen worked in the world of sport, first in a community sport development role and then with The Sport and Recreation Alliance, where she delivered conferences and training about policy and governance for senior leaders within the sector.

Helen lives in South East London but always lets you know she's 'originally' from Shropshire. She loves getting outdoors, going for walks and enjoys netball and pilates in her spare time.
