Gary Beharrell

Gary has been involved in the voluntary sector for over 30 years — initially starting in children’s playwork in Hull — before community development work and running a play centre in Newcastle. He then moved to volunteer management and development at Loughborough University followed by Nottingham University. He has been in grant management and assessment for over twenty years starting with Boots Charitable Trust.
He has been a trustee of a local community centre and the Association of Charitable Foundations and is a trustee of the East Midlands Funders forum.
In his spare time, he enjoys long-distance walking, travel and music.
