Deborah Thornberry
Grants Officer
Deborah joined the Foundation in 2020 as a Development Associate through the 2027 Social Change Programme and is now part of the Grants Management Team.
Deborah has over 30 years of experience working in communities, youth and playwork, community centres, domestic abuse, learning disabilities, and social care.
She has a passion for participation and collaboration, and at present, sit on the committee for the Grant Funders Network. Deborah has also been a School Governor and Chair of a local primary school governing body.
In her free time, Deborah loves to travel and experience other cultures, as well as socialising in lots of diverse settings, from afternoon tea to a crowded dance floor!
