Dame Ann Limb DBE DL
Chair of Trustees
Chair of Trustees
Ann is a British educationalist, business leader, charity chair and philanthropist. Ann holds a number of public and private sector non-executive directorships and in September 2015, became the first woman Chair of The Scout Association in the movement’s 108-year history and is currently Chair, The UK Innovation Corridor, Chair of the City & Guilds of London Institute and Deputy Lieutenant for the county of Buckinghamshire, where she has lived since 1986.
Ann brings deep experience of chairing organisations to this role and sees the Foundation as an established force for good with a sophisticated approach in terms of the various themes, angles and projects. She sees society at large becoming a lot more unequal and therefore values the Foundation’s focus on areas of deepest need and sees this in sharp relief.
