Meet the team at Lloyds Bank Foundation

Dale has over 18 years’ experience in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in the UK and Africa.

Prior to joining the Foundation he was the Deputy CEO of Windmill Hill City Farm, where he led their community enterprise team. Previously Dale was the Head of Service Design at the Soil Association, a food and farming charity, where he designed and led a £5million UK wide partnership programme which mobilised, built capacity and leadership of over 3,250 community food organisers covering 93% of UK local authority areas.

Dale is passionate about improving equity, diversity and inclusion in society and has led organisational and cross sector change initiatives on this agenda, including as Co-Chair of the cross-sector Bristol Equality Network.

In 2016 Dale was named one of 50 Nesta and The Observer ‘New Radicals’ in the UK as the Founder Director of Growing Support CIC which reduced loneliness, isolation and inactivity for older people in care. In five years he grew this social enterprise to have a national reach, winning the Third Sector ‘Small Charity Big Achiever’ award for its impact.
