James Newman
Programme Administrator (TNLCF Grant Holder Support Pilot)
Having joined the Foundation in September 2022 as People and Culture Assistant, James moved to a secondment position in January 2026 working in the Community-Led Change Directorate as a Programme Administrator for an exciting new pilot.
James joined the Foundation from a charity, Youth Hostels Association (YHA), and has held various different voluntary roles in charities in the past including, most recently, being treasurer for his local church.
James enjoys getting outdoors in local beauty spots and also playing music together with other people. One of his greatest achievements was singing in the BBC Proms with a male-voice choir called Cambiata.
